I am an Associate Professor at ESPOL University. My research interests include network economics and peer effects, absorptive capacity and organizational learning, and fiscal policy and local economic development. I have served ESPOL as Associate Dean and Dean of the Faculty of Social and Humanistic Sciences, as well as Vice Minister of Economy in Ecuador. I am currently a Research Associate at the Center for Economic Research at ESPOL and an affiliate of the Center for Development and Public Policy at ESPOL. Since August 2022, I have been serving as President of the Ecuadorian Economic Association.
