About Me

I am an Associate Professor at ESPOL University. My research interests include agricultural productivity estimation, the evaluation of agricultural insurance and weather derivatives, and the impact of social networks. I have served ESPOL as Associate Dean and Dean of the Faculty of Social and Humanistic Sciences, as well as Vice Minister of Economy in Ecuador. I am currently a Research Associate at the Center for Economic Research at ESPOL. Since December 2022, I have been serving as President of the Ecuadorian Economic Association.
